About the Author

Gwen Chermack Hartzler is a happily married Financial Literacy Educator in the high mountains of Colorado. An entrepreneur at heart, she has owned several home-based businesses.

She is now an Investment Advisor Representative with Transamerica Financial Advisors. She helps average families get their financial house in order by teaching people how money works.

She is a published author, and has recently opened her own online publishing company. Her first book is a historical novel about the Biblical battle of Jericho, and the second is a Christian novel about homelessness and restoration. She recently published her third book, a leadership guide for those working with volunteers. It is called ‘Would You Follow You?’ and is available in paperback and eBook format on Amazon.

She has extensive experience with volunteer management and is a public speaker on the subject.

She has worked with several family endeavors including six years managing the local gun store and sporting goods shop. She is an NRA Certified Instructor and taught concealed carry classes to more than 500 local people.

She worked three years with the National Rifle Association as the Colorado Field Representative, and then fought to defend unborn children with Personhood USA.

After graduating Salutatorian of her class at Texas Bible Institute, she traveled extensively with the New Life Drama Company.

Gwen serves as worship leader at her church and sat on the Board of Directors for Caring & Sharing, a local ministry to the poor and homeless.
