Gwen Hartzler is a happily married entrepreneur in rural Oklahoma. Not only does she sell collectibles on eBay, but she and her adult son own a mobile snack business called the Okie Snack Wagon. Her husband, Wayne, is the local Medicare Help guy.
She is a published author, and has recently opened her own online publishing company. Her first book is a historical novel about the Biblical battle of Jericho, and the second is a Christian novel about homelessness and restoration. She recently published her third book, a leadership guide for those working with volunteers. It is called ‘Would You Follow You?’ and is available in paperback and eBook format on Amazon.
She has extensive experience with volunteer management and is a public speaker on the subject.
She has worked with several family endeavors including six years managing the local gun store and sporting goods shop. She is an NRA Certified Instructor and taught concealed carry classes to more than 500 local people.
She worked three years with the National Rifle Association as the Colorado Field Representative, and then fought to defend unborn children with Personhood USA.
After graduating Salutatorian of her class at Texas Bible Institute, she traveled extensively with the New Life Drama Company. She also studied at the Leadership Institute in Washington DC.
Gwen served as worship leader at her church and sat on the Board of Directors for Caring & Sharing, a local ministry to the poor and homeless.
